PointPoint Critique:
In being a critique of my own work is a little difficult, but I will give it a shot anyhow. When I go back an look at my slide show, I find the screen design to be acceptable. I pretty much followed all the guidelines required for the assignment. The slide show design did not deserve an excellent mark because i didn't add anything extra to make it stand out from others. I thought the navigation of my slide show was excellent. It is simple to the point where anyone could navigate to the next or previous slide with not problem. As far as content goes, the presentation served it purpose and get a grade of acceptable. Overall I would have to say my presentation is acceptable and can become excellent if a little more time and thought is put in to it.
New skills:
The new skills learn last week was dealing with excel spreadsheets and the many functions of it. I learned how to become more creative by added color to the text, background, and individual boxes. Also, how added a pie chart and enhance the spreadsheet in a great way. The most important function I learned was how change certain rows or columns to calculate numbers in specific ways. All of these functions are extremely useful in teaching and learning, they help reiterate what’s being taught.
